INTRODUCTION

~Our lecturer assigned us the task of inspecting every tree in every row to look for diseases, issues with the irrigation system, and weeds for today's activities.

OBJECTIVES

-Determine which diseases affect durian trees.

-Inspect every row of trees that needs to be maintained.

LIST OF ACTIVITIES:-

7:00-8:00

-We had a roll call at UPL to recite a doa' and sing the Planter's song, Wawasan Setia UITM, and the National Anthem conducted by part 2 students.

8:00-8:30

-We listened to what Dr. Fairuz had to say about the plots we needed to manage and the tasks we had to perform.

-We proceeded to the selected row to look at the tree and determine what was needed to ensure in great condition.

-Since the tree has already produced fruit, it now requires additional nutrients to support both fruit production and tree growth for optimal outcomes

PREVENT

-Minimize soil salinity and increase air vents to reduce the dead roots and speed up the new ones.

-Make sure drainage is in the best condition because durian trees are very sensitive to standing water.

-Use a semi-organic Soya-Fish type with an N-P-K rating of 8-8-8-8(TE)
