INTRODUCTION

-This week, we've been doing a circle weeding for last week at the durian plot to ensure weed growth effectively

OBJECTIVES

-We doing circle weeding to slow down the weed growth to ensure the competition of trees and weeds to get nutrients and avoid the durian plot looking managed

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT

-Boots

-Hoe

-Glove

LIST OF ACTIVITIES:-

7:00-8:00

-We had a roll call at UPL to recite a doa' and sing the Planter's song, Wawasan Setia UITM, and the National Anthem conducted by part 3 students.

8:00-8:30

-The student on duty for this week prepared everything we needed before going to our plot

8:30-10:40

-We proceeded to do circle weeding during the rain until finished to tree no.10

10:40-11:00

-Going back to UPL to have some rest and prepare to dismiss our fieldwork session

tree no.10 already has fruit because of that we need to keep our eyes on that tree currently 

we doing circle weeding for this tree because this tree still young so we need to put a lot of effort into keeping this tree 

tree no.1 is already mature so we just doing circle weeding to keep the tree area getting a lot of light for growth 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

-BENEFITS OF DOING CIRCLE WEEDING

-Removing competing weeds ensures that the durian trees receive more nutrients and get a lot of light to get better growth and boost fruit production.

-Weeds can harbor pests that can affect durian trees removing them helps to keep the trees from get problem
